Dry suit
From Openwaterpedia
noun – A dry suit or drysuit provides thermal insulation or passive thermal protection to the wearer while immersed in water, and is worn by divers, boaters, water sports enthusiasts, and others like seconds and spotters who work at ice swimming or winter swimming competitions. A dry suit normally protects the whole body except the head, hands, and possibly the feet. In some configurations, however, all of these are covered as well.
Winter Swimming
Dry suits are used by safety personnel in winter swimming and ice swimming competitions in order to quickly conduct a rescue of a distressed swimmer who needs immediate help.
