Drop anchor

verb - To drop anchor is to stop immediately while swimming in an open body of water. Swimmers can drop anchor due to a jellyfish sting, a shark encounter, being ziplined or punched, a cramp, extreme fatigue, running into flotsam, or swallowing water.
