noun, adjective - Two-way (or two-way crossing or double-crossing) is a solo or relay swim that continues two consecutive times across a channel, lake, river or other body of water under the traditional rules of marathon swimming. Typically, there is a maximum of a 10-minute break at the shoreline between the first and second crossing.

Usage

The swimmer set a two-way record across the Cook Strait.
