Antonio Argüelles is the protagonist of Diary of a Double, a year-long podcast about this two-way crossing attempt of the English Channel

Diary of a Double is a WOWSA Live production. It is a podcast and documentation of the year-long journey of Antonio Argüelles who will attempt a 67 km two-way crossing of the English Channel in July 2021. Throughout this journey, Argüelles describes his pool and open water swimming workouts, preparation, nutrition, dryland training, and coaching for his solo channel swim that was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.

Antonio Argüelles[edit]

Antonio Argüelles is an Honor Swimmer in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame who was completed the Oceans Seven and the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming. He aiming to be the oldest person in history - at the age of 62 - to complete a two-way crossing of the English Channel, currently held by 59-year-old Sally Minty-Gravett, MBE of Jersey.
