Deaxo Croes

Deaxo Croes (born 1 December 1979) is a Dutch bodysurfer, free diver and open water swimmer from Aruba.
Open Water Swimming Highlights
- At the age of 38, he completed a 30 km tandem swim from Piedras Negras on Estado Falcon in Venezuela to Aruba in 10 hours 20 minutes 12 seconds on 11 November 2018 at the age of 38 together with Davy Bisslik, Romar Arendsz, Wendy Kock-Croes, and Stephan Thijsen, coached by Roly Bisslik, under the escort of pilot Johannes L.J. Versteeg with escort crew members Charlene Leslie, Seanbrick Topperberg, and Incoe Marsinus. It was a charity swim to support the charity organization 'Koningin Wilhelmina Fonds' that helps assisting cancer patients on Aruba.
- Croes swam a 20 km training swim from Bonaire to Curaçao on 1 December 2020 as he plans to swim an unprecedented 54 km crossing from Bonaire to Curaçao in 2021.
