- He finished 9th in the IISA Ireland 1k National Championships Ice Kilometer on 26 January 2019 in 20:08:74.
- He participate in Team Global Tridents, an Irish open water swimming relay consisting of Christine O'Brien, Lauren O'Malley, Darran Cusick, Dominic Mudge, Louise Darlington and Francie Haughey that completed a 35 km crossing of the North Channel between Northern Ireland and Scotland on 29 July 2019 in 11 hours 54 minutes 24 seconds from 54 38.242 N - 5 31.333 W (start) and 54 51.490 N - 5 8.803 W (finish), ratified under North Channel Swimming rules.
- He finished 2nd in the IISA Ireland 1k National Championships Ice Kilometer on 25 January 2020 in Wild Water Armagh, Northern Ireland in 18:22:41 in 5.7°C water at the age of 43.
- He became an Iron Ice Man by completing two Ironman triathlons (Ironman Barcelona in 10 hours 7 minutes 11 seconds in 2019 and Ironman Copenhagen in 11 hours 38 minutes 41 seconds in 2018) and an Ice Mile on 7 March 2020 in Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, Craigavon, Northern Ireland in 4.87°C water in 38 minutes 19 seconds.
