Dario Verani is a 27-year-old Italian open water swimmer coached by Fabrizio Antonelli of Esercito Italiano.

Open Water Swimming Highlights

On 30 June 2022, he won the 25 km marathon swim in Lake Lupa, Hungary at the 2022 FINA World Championships at the age of 27.
He won the 2015 LEN Open Water Cup series.
He won the 2016 LEN Open Water Cup series.
He won the 5 km solo swim and participated in the gold medal winning Italian team in the 5 km team pursuit event at the 1st Mediterranean Beach Games in Pescara, Italy 2015.
On 23 December 2018, he won the King and Queen of the Sea in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil together with Rachele Bruni.
He competed on the 2019 FINA / CNSG Marathon Swim World Series in Seychelles on 12 May 2019.
On 31 August 2019, he finished 5th in the 10 km FINA / CNSG Marathon Swim World Series race in Nantou, Chinese Taipei in 1:56:40.90.
He finished 7th in the 10 km FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series in Eilat, Israel on 12 December 2021 at the age of 26.
