D’Arcy Toffolo

D'Arcy Toffolo is a 44-year-old American former competitive swimmer with the Lake Forest Swim Club and triathlete, and an open water swimmer from Denver, Colorado. She is coached by Sarah Thomas.

Open Water Swimming Highlights[edit]

  • She planned a 20-mile lake swim in Lake Michigan on 28 June 2018 from South Haven, Michigan to the Big Red lighthouse on the south side of the Macatawa Harbor in Holland, Michigan. It is a charity swim on behalf of NOAH, the National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentation.
  • Every summer since age 11 she swam 2½ miles from Castle Park to Big Red during family vacations in Castle Park in Holland, Michigan.
  • After college, she began racing triathlons and has completed nearly a hundred, including eight Ironmans, four of those the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
  • She finished fourth in the 57.2 km END-WET marathon swim escorted by Lynn Acton and Shellie Beeker in 13 hours 37 minutes on 21 June 2021 at the age of 44.
