- On 5 August 2000, she completed the 10 km Santa Cruz Pier-to-Pier Swim from Capitola Wharf in northern California in 2 hours 26 minutes 58 seconds at the age of 31.
- On 8 July 2001, she completed the 8.4 km Semana Nautica Ocean Swim in Goleta Beach, Santa Barbara, California in 2 hours 4 minutes 11 seconds at the age of 32.
