Thomas Courtney Roberts, MD (61, nickname Doc C) is an American pool and open water swimmer and water polo player and physician specializing the family medicine.


  • He graduated in biology from Harvard University, Class of 1984, where he captained the swim team.
  • He received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine & Public Health.

Aquatic Accomplishments

  • Doc C was the Captain, leading scorer, and undisputed heart of St Xavier High School's 1979 water polo team (the school's only state champion team to date). The award recognizes that water polo player who best exemplifies faith and unselfish leadership as well as athletic contributions.
