- Turner won and set the 200m freestyle record at the 2018 Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival in Vermont.
- Turner won the 2016 Ireland Ice Swimming Championships at Wild Water Armagh in Northern Ireland.
- Turner completed the 1 km ice swim in 12:44 for the #2 ranking in the world in 2017, as ratified by the International Ice Swimming Association.
- Turner received the Juvenile Performance of the Year from the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association in 2012 for his swim of 59 minutes 15 seconds in the 5 km Camlough race.
- Turner won a silver medal in the 1000m ice kilometer race at the 2017 Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere World Championships in Burghausen, Bavaria, Germany.
- Turner won the 1000m ice kilometer race at the 2016 Ireland Ice Swimming Association’s national 1 km Championships in Eastern Bay, Ireland.
- Turner won the bronze medal in the 100m freestyle at the 2017 Ice Swimming Aqua Sphere World Championships in Burghausen, Germany.
- Turner participated in a relay with Elina Makïnen, Keith Garry, Anna-Carin Nordin, and Rory Fitzgerald from the Isle of Man to Ireland in 2017 under the direction of Pádraig Mallon of Infinity Channel Swimming and Piloting Services.
