Conor Gunn was inducted in the Hall of Fame – Marathon Swimming Ireland as an Honour Swimmer in its Class of 2020

Conor Gunn is an Irish open water swimmer who won the Centenary Cup by crossing the English Channel in 1994 for his 9 hour 11 minute crossing. He won the 17 km men's Irish Open Water Swimming Championships 10 times in a row starting in 1992.

He is an Honor Swimmer in the Hall of Fame – Marathon Swimming Ireland Class of 2020.

Centenary Cup Recipients[edit]

The Centenary Cup is given to the 'Fastest Swim of the Year by a British Person' across the English Channel awarded by the Channel Swimming Association.
