Coney Island Polar Bear Club Swim

The Coney Island Polar Bear Club is the oldest winter bathing club in the United States founded in 1903. Members swim every Sunday between November and April at 1 pm on Coney Island, New York. Membership is currently closed, but everyone is invited to the annual New Year's Day Coney Island Polar Bear Plunge.

Polar bear swim is held on 1 January every year with water temperatures as low as 33°F.
