The Coney Island Polar Bear Club is the oldest winter bathing club in the United States founded in 1903. Members swim every Sunday between November and April at 1 pm on Coney Island, New York. Membership is currently closed, but everyone is invited to the annual New Year's Day Coney Island Polar Bear Plunge.
