Colin Lindsay is a 47-year-old Irish architect and an open water swimmer.

Open Water Swimming Highlights[edit]

  • Member of the Armagh Pike Kickers, a relay team of Colin Lindsay, Gairoid Derry and Aidan Walsh, who set a relay record in 6 hours 57 minutes 22 seconds at the ILDSA Lough Erne 25km and 17km National Championship held on 5 August 2017.
  • Armagh Pike Kickers Relay Team with Gairoid Derry and Aidan Walsh swam the English Channel on 22nd August 2017 in 16hrs 2mins.
  • He won the 2017-2018 Global Swim Series in the male non-wetsuit division.
  • He participated in the HittheWall training in 2017.
  • He finished 4th in the IISA Ireland 1k National Championships Ice Kilometer on 26 January 2019 in 16:47:37.
  • He competed in the Ice Kilometer at the 3rd International Ice Swimming Association World Championship held in Murmansk, Russia in March 2019.
  • He finished 2nd in the 2019-2020 Global Swim Series Male Non-Wetsuit Division.
  • Team member of the OA Giants an Open Water Swimming Relay Team with John McElroy, Bill Donnelly, Chris Judge, Keith Garry, Dominic Mudge, and Colin Lindsay.
  • The OA Giants completed a 35 km North Channel crossing on 2 August 2020 in 9 hours 2 minute 41 seconds setting a New World Record for fastest crossing.
