noun – A Cold Member is an individual who has accomplished an ice kilometer or a minimum of one kilometer under the rules and auspices of the International Ice Swimming Association.

International Ice Swimming Association[edit]

The International Ice Swimming Association is the recognized governing body of ice swimming around the globe. Its membership includes Warm Members, Cold Members and Ice Members. An Ice Kilometer is a solo swim of one kilometre in length in an open body of water under 5°C (41°F). An Ice Mile is a solo swim of one mile in length in an open body of water under 5°C (41°F).
