- He finished third in the Vidösternsimmet, a 21 km marathon swim in Lake Vidöstern in Småland, Sweden traditionally held in August.
- He was the fastest male without a wetsuit to cross the Strait of Gibraltar during the 2018, completing the swim in 2 hours 58 minutes on 7 July 2018.
