Clare Kelly-Barra is the EOP Academic Advisor at SUNY New Paltz and an open water swimming enthusiast, navigator and escort crew member. In March 2013, she escorted husband Dave Barra 22 miles along the coast of Eleuthera in the Bahamas together with Scott Aland, Rachel Shapiro and Jai Leal for 13 hours 41 minutes.
