Chun'an

Chun'an (simplified Chinese: 淳安县; traditional Chinese: 淳安縣) is a county in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China where a FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup event is held annually in October in Qiandao Lake.

Qiandao Lake (Chinese: 千島湖 that means Thousand Island Lake) is a man-made lake located in Chun'an County, Zhejiang, China, formed after the completion of the Xin'an River hydroelectric station in 1959. 1,078 large islands dot the lake and a few thousand smaller ones are scattered across it. Qiandao Lake is known for its clear, and sometimes drinkable water, and is used to produce the renowned Nongfu Spring brand of mineral water. It is also home to lush forests (over 90%), and exotic islands.
