Christoph Karow is a 38-year-old open water swimmer turned winter swimmer from Halle, Germany who won two IISA world championship titles with Team Germany in 2022 and is holder of numerours Ice swimming masters swimming world records and titles.

- On 15 January 2023, he won the 4x250 mixed freestyle relay at the IISA 5th World Championship in Samoëns, France with Kilian Graef, Alisa Fatum, and Andreas Waschburger in a new world record time.
- On 12 January 2023, he won the 4x50 mixed freestyle relay at the IISA 5th World Championship in Samoëns, France with Kilian Graef, Alisa Fatum, and Andreas Waschburger.
- On 14 January 2023, he finished 3rd in the 50m butterfly in 28:44 at the IISA 5th World Championship in Samoëns, France at the age of 38.
- On 7 February 2022 in Głogów, Poland, he finished 2nd in the 50m freestyle in 26:61 at the International Ice Swimming Association IISA 4th World Championship in the 3.00°C water at the age of 37.
- On 7 February 2022 in Głogów, Poland, he finished 2nd in the 4x250m freestyle relay in 12:08:39 at the International Ice Swimming Association IISA 4th World Championship in the 3.00°C water at the age of 37.
- He finished 2nd in the 50m freestyle in 25:89 and 3rd in the 100m freestyle in 58:66 at the 12th Winter Swimming World Championships in Bled, Slovenia.
- He finished 3rd in the 25m freestyle in 12:13 and 5th in the 50m freestyle in 26:76 at the 11th Winter Swimming World Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.
