Christine Branche-Dorsey, Ph.D. is an epidemiologist and leader of the Home and Leisure Team, within the Division of Unintentional Injury Prevention, National Center for Injury Prevention and Control at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. She has conducted injury control research in drowning, water recreation-related spinal cord injuries, and falls in working populations. She was also the first recipient of the Paragon Awards in the Water Safety category, honored by the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1996.
