Marlow (historically Great Marlow or Chipping Marlow) is a town and civil parish within Wycombe district in south Buckinghamshire, England. It is located on the River Thames, 4 miles (6 km) south-southwest of High Wycombe, 5 miles (8 km) west-northwest of Maidenhead and 33 miles (53 km) west of central London.

Open Water Swimming

The Thames Marathon is a 14.1 km marathon swim down the River Thames from Henley-on-Thames to Marlow, organized by Henley Swim in England. The swim down the River Thames is split into four sections where swimmers must exit the water at 3 different locks: Hambledon after 4 km, Hurley at 10 km, and Temple at 11.8 km.
