Chelsea Sugar Swim

The Chelsea Sugar Swim is a 2.4 km open water swim in New Zealand, held in February that is the third race in the four-swim series called the Harbour Swim Series organised by the Auckland Central Masters Swimming Inc. The course is from Masefield Beach (bottom of Curran St) to the Chelsea Sugar Refinery. It is part of the Global Swim Series.

Harbour Swim Series

The Harbour Swim Series consists of 4 events designed to build confidence and distance over the swimming season in the Waitemata Harbour:

• Orca Herne Bay to Watchmans Island Swim, 2.2 km on 15 November 2015
• Bays Swim, 3.6 km on 13 December 2015
• Chelsea Sugar Swim, 2.4 km on 21 February 2016
• Rangitoto Swim, 4.6 km on 10 April 2016
