Charlie Gravett of the Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club
Charlie Gravett (born 19 June 1943, died 6 July 2020) was an escort pilot and Vice President of the Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club located on the isle of Jersey and affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association SER, British Long Distance Swimming Association and the Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation.

Honours
- Gravett was inducted in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame as an Honour Contributor in the Class of 2016.
- Gravett was included in the 1972 edition of Guinness World Records (page 296) for a six-man 72-mile (115.86 km) relay from Anima Bernie in southern Turkey to Kyrinia, Cyprus in 44 hours. The relay was led by Flight Lieutenant Antony Smith of the 26 Squadron RAF Regiment, escorted by an RAF Marine craft, and piloted by Flight Lieutenant Doug Potter.
