Charley Spriggs

Charley and the Old Speedos, an English Channel relay team consisting of Charley Spriggs, Jon Spriggs, Amanda Goodman, Nick White, Nick Hunt, and Adrian Boehler

Charley Spriggs successfully completed an English Channel relay called Charley and the Old Speedos on 4 August 2013 in 12 hours 15 minutes at the age of 12 years 16 days, escorted by pilot Eric Hartley on the boat Pathfinder. In the process, she raised over £15,000 for Papworth Hospital that saved the life of her grandfather in 2012. She received the Princess Diana Award for Champion Young Fundraisers.
