Catarina Cucatti Ganzeli (or Catarina Ganyeuli) is a 23-year-old Brazilian open water swimmer and a writer and swimming commentator for the SWIM Channel Magazine which was voted as the 2012 World Open Water Swimming Offering of the Year.
Open Water Swimming Career
- She finished 11th in the 57 km 2017 Maratón Acuática Internacional Santa Fe – Coronda in Argentina.
- She participated in the 16 km Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli on the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix circuit on 3 September 2017.
- She competed on the 2017 FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix professional marathon swimming circuit.
- She finished second in the 2017 Travessia do Canal de Ilhabela on 30 October, off the coast of São Paulo state in Brazil.
- She competed in the 24 km Maratona Aquática 14 Bis that was held in the Bertioga Channel between the island of Santo Amaro and the Brazilian mainland near São Paulo in 2008.
- She won the 24 km Maratona Aquática 14 Bis in Brazil in 2017.
- She won the Rio Negro Challenge in Brazil in 2017.
- She won the 10 km Super Challenge ocean swim at the Rei e Rainha do Mar (King and Queen of the Sea) in Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on 9 December 2017, winning the Poliana Okimoto Trophy.
- She won the 30 km Madeira Island Ultra Swim in Portugal in 8 hours 58 minutes on 12 September 2020, finishing 1st overall.
