The Mountain Swim Series aims to promote fitness and health through open water swimming.

The Solstice Sunset Swim - Mountain Swim Series Event 1 is held in Longmont, Colorado at Union Reservoir on 20 June 2015:

  • 1.2-mile swim with a 1-hour time limit starting at 6 pm for swimmers 13 years and older
  • 2.4-mile swim with a 2-hour time limit starting at 6 pm for swimmers 16 years and older
  • 500-meter fun swim with a 20-minute time limit, non-competitive, not timed, no minimum age
  • altitude: 5,000 feet (1,524m)

The Carter Lake Crossing - Mountain Swim Series Event 2 is held in Carter Lake Reservoir in Loveland, Colorado on 11 July 2015:

  • 3-mile timed competitive swim with a 2.5-hour time limit starting at 8 am for swimmers 16 years and older
  • altitude: 5,760 (1,755m)

The Chatfield Classic - Mountain Swim Series Event 3 is held in Hatfield Lake in Littleton, Colorado on 8 August 2015:

  • 1.2-mile competitive swim with a 1-hour time limit starting at 7 am for swimmers 13 years and older
  • 2.4-mile competitive swim with a 2-hour time limit starting at 7 am for swimmers 16 years and older
  • 500-meter fun swim with a 20-minute time limit, non-competitive, not timed, no minimum age
  • altitude: 5,427 (1,654m)
