Carl Michael

Carl Michael was a coach at Yale University and a former Eastern collegiate diving champion who assisted the Odyssey tours of the Aegean Sea in the 1920s. He also coached Eleanor Studley, Lucy Hancock, and Eugenie Paterson across the Hellespont in 1929 and a group of 17 American college men and 1 newspaper reporter across the Hellespont in 1928.
