Buzzards Bay Swim

Buzzards Bay Swim is a charity swim held in the Outer Harbor in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Started in 1993, the charity swim raises funds to support the Buzzards Bay Coalition's work to protect and restore Buzzard's Bay. It is a 1.2-mile open water swimming competition across outer New Bedford Harbor that raised US$160,000 in its 20th annual Buzzards Bay Swim event in July 2013. It is one of America's Top 100 Open Water Swims.
