Bruno Tomaz Torres is a 40-year-old Brazilian open water swimmer who was a member of Natação No Mar, a marathon swimming relay with 34-year-old Edson Ribeiro Ferreira, 53-year-old Julius Sobral Vannier, 32-year-old Lucas Pamplona Vidal, 17-year-old Paulo Vinícius Ferreira Silva, and 24-year-old Vinícius Pereira de Souza with coach Izabel Thomas that completed a 36 km crossing from Leme to Pontal in a time of 10 hours 39 minutes 18 seconds in the Travessia do Leme ao Pontal along the Rio de Janeiro coast in Brazil on 27 April 2019.
