The Great Scottish Swim is part of the Great Swim or the British Gas Great Swim Series, a series of open water swims held in the United Kingdom, organised by Nova International, a UK-based company owned by former Olympic runner Brendan Foster. It is held at Loch Lomond in Scotland with over 2,500 participants.

Great Swim Series[edit]

There are 5 swims in the series: Great London Swim, Great East Swim, Great Manchester Swim, Great North Swim, and Great Scottish Swim.

SwimRun Event[edit]

The Great Scottish Swim also includes a 800m swim + 5 km run in its SwimRun Event in Loch Lomond.
