Brianne Yeates is a Marathon Swimmers Federation-approved observer assisting David Barra on Chloë McCardel's 126 km marathon swim attempt in the Bahamas.

Coaching Career[edit]

Yeates is a coach with Swift and has a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Tampa where she was a member of the women’s volleyball team. She has a ASCA Level I Swim Coach certification, runs the Fitness Group at St. Andrew’s school, and assists with the Competitive I Group. She received her Open Water Officials Certificate at the 2014 FINA/Bahamas Swimming Federation Open Water Swim Clinic.

Chloë McCardel's Marathon[edit]

Yeates served as an observer for Chloë McCardel's 124.4 km marathon swim from Lighthouse Beach on the southern tip of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas to Nassau in 41 hours 21 minutes between 20-22 October 2014, completed under Marathon Swimmers Federation rules.
