Brendan Sexton

Brendan Sexton is an Australian triathlete and Olympian. Sexton began swimming at age 7 and competed in his first triathlon when he was 15 years old. Two years later, he made his first Australian national team.

In 2007, Sexton earned a silver medal at the U/23 World Championships in Hamburg, Germany, solidifying his place as an elite-level triathlete. Sexton earned his spot on the Australian Olympic Team after an impressive season in 2011. He placed fourth in the World Championships in Sydney and won gold at the World Cup race in Monterrey, Mexico.

Sexton is a top contender at the ITU and Xterra World Championships with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. He is sponsored by FINIS.
