- He successfully crossed the Maui Channel.
- He swam 21.24 mile across Lake Tahoe on 29 August 2011 in 11 hours 26 minutes or 21.24 miles.
- On 30 August 2021, he completed a 25-mile crossing of Monterey Bay in 15 hours 17 minutes 22 seconds from Santa Cruz Harbor to San Carlos Beach at the age of 49. Observers Kim Rutherford and Robin Rose assisted together with escort pilots Brian Thom and Krista Swedberg of Nomad Sailing Charters.
- He completed an Ice Mile in February 2013 in Lake Tahoe, California, USA in 4.88°C water and 0.50°C air in 29 minutes 4 seconds.
