Bob Schailey is an American open water swimming official who serves as the Meet Referee of the Brigantine Beach Ocean Swims that include a 800m, 2 km and 10 km marathon swims held in Brigantine Beach, New Jersey, U.S.A. and the Atlantic City Pageant Ocean Swim, one of the oldest open water swimming competitions in the world that has been continuously held since 1929.
Atlantic City Pageant Ocean Swim
The 1.5-mile Atlantic City Pageant Ocean Swim course goes from States Ave. in Atlantic City, through the surf, around Steel Pier and in a southwesterly direction to Missouri Ave. where the finish is on the beach. Wetsuits are not permitted.
