noun - Blue whales are the largest type of whales that can grow to 100 feet long and a weight of 190 tons. Calves are 20 feet long at birth and weigh about 5,000 pounds. Their voices can travel thousands of miles and a whale can recognize the voices of other whales. Large blue whales can eat up to 4 tons of krill per day.
