Blair Redfern

Blair Redfern is a member of the Australian English Channel Swim Team who also include Tim Quinlan, Dan Green and Rory Pilgrim with Pauline Pratt as their coach.
Redfern, who studies surveying at university, has been swimming since he was 7, and in 2005 began to focus on long distance swimming. He is also passionate about surf lifesaving and has enjoyed competing at State and National levels, where he enjoyed great success. He cites his greatest accomplishment as swimming the English Channel in 2005. Together, with a team of 6, he set the fastest Australian team crossing, fastest junior Australian crossing and fastest team crossing for 2005.
