Black Cherry Barbecue
Black Cherry Barbecue is a type of KRAVE Jerky, a all-natural, whole-muscle cut, hand-sliced pieces of meat. The company was founded by Jon Sebastiani.
Preparation
After bathing in a special marinade for 48 hours, the meat is baked, resulting in a moist and tender jerky experience unlike any other. KRAVE is entirely gluten-free and devoid of nitrites, MSG, and corn syrup.
Jon Sebastiani
Jon Sebastiani was training for the NYC Marathon in 2009 and he yearned for a way to satisfy his hunger. A businessman and father on-the-go, the convenience of traditional snack items was attractive – but the concern for his health and the desire for something delicious left him disillusioned – and challenged him to innovate beyond the expected. Sebastiani leads a team of die-hard runners, busy moms, and excited young professionals who push the limits and think outside the box to deliver a seriously satisfying and healthier snack.
