- He finished 2nd in the Swim Around The Rock from St. Francis, around Alcatraz Island and to Aquatic Park in San Francisco Bay, California.
- He is a member of a 5-person charity relay that will attempt to cross the 32.3 km Catalina Channel in order to raise money for bringing clean water in deep, bore-hole wells to remote village in Africa together with Ryan Vinall, Barry Nugent, Mark Dahlin and Caryl Sheehan in September 2019.
