Big Welsh Swim

The Big Welsh Swim is a multi-race open water swim in Llyn Padarn at the foot of Snowdonia Mountain Range, Gwynedd in north Wales. The course includes 3 x 3 km lengths of Llyn Padarn on 14 July 2017 with the expected water temperatures between 16°C and 18°C. It is a charity swim for Snowdonia Giving.

  • Two Way: 6 km [maximum number of participants: 70]
  • Three way: 9 km [maximum number of participants: 110]

Llyn Padarn

Llyn Padarn is a glacially formed lake in Snowdonia, Gwynedd, north Wales. It is a moraine dammed lake, approximately 2 miles long and at its deepest point is 94 feet deep, and is one of the largest natural lakes in Wales.
