Kuriat Island

The Kuriat Islands are located northeast of Cape Monastir, about 20 km from the Tunisia mainland. These are two small islands: Qurya El Kbira and Qurya Sghira.

On 11 August 2020, Nejib Belhedi swam 40 km from Great Kuriat to Sousse in 10 hours 43 minutes 15 seconds at the age of 69.
