The Hawaiian Islands are a group of islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that are the newest American state. It is also the name of the biggest island in the State of Hawaii.

Channels in the Hawaiian Islands

There are 9 main channels in the Hawaiian Islands that individuals attempt to swim: Auau Channel (or the Maui Channel), Kalohi Channel, Alalakeiki Channel, Pailolo Channel, Alenuihaha Channel, Kaulakahi Channel, Kealaikahiki Channel, Kaiwi Channel (or Moloka'i Channel) and the Kaieiewaho Channel.

Maui Nui Triangle Swim

The Kaiwi Channel Association planned and helped escort Becca Mann on her unprecedented 63.9 km Maui Nui Triangle Swim between the islands of Maui, Molokai and Lanai in the state of Hawaii on 18-19 August 2019 in 20 hours 53 minutes.
