Big Bear Plunge is a Polar Bear charity swim in Big Bear Lake in Southern California held in early March. The event is hosted by the Special Olympics Inland Empire.

Boutiques, gift shops and restaurants line the streets of Big Bear Lake Village, the commercial area. Surrounding the city, the rugged San Bernardino National Forest has mountain trails.
