Nelson Mandela Bay Bell Buoy Challenge is an annual 8 km ocean swim produced by Michael Zoetmulder of South Africa.
Distance
8 km - From Hobie Beach along the coast for 1.6 km. Around a buoy in front of the Radison Hotel, and then directly out to sea to Bell Buoy - 2.4 km, and then back along the same route to Hobie Beach.

Ocean Swim - Expected Sea temperatures: Between 15 and 22 degrees C. Between 2 and 4 meter swells.
