Rebecca Jackman-Beeler is an American open water swimmer and coach from La Mesa, California, U.S.A. who is a member of the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming and a board member of the Catalina Channel Swimming Federation.
Open Water Swimming Career
- completed the Maui Channel (twice in 1998 and 2002)
- lifetime member of the Catalina Channel Swimming Federation
- achieved the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming:
- a crossing of the English Channel in 11 hours 56 minutes in 2003
- a crossing of the Catalina Channel in 2001 in 10 hours 28 minutes
- a completion of the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim in 8 hours 23 minutes in 2002
- completed the 2015 S.C.A.R. Swim Challenge in Arizona
- a member of Team FTD, an open water swimming relay consisting of Forrest Nelson, Mike Mitchell, Kent Nicholas, Emily Evans, and Tina Neill. - member of the ATI Team 3, a 6-person team that completed a 74.7 km circumnavigation swim relay around Santa Catalina Island in the Pacific Ocean off of Southern California on 16 September 2018 in 31 hours 53 minutes 35 seconds together with Susanne Blair, Michella Thomas, Alice Ma, Krista Anderson, and Carol Sing.
