Beatriz Alvariño Díaz del Río is the race director of the Triple Corona Illas Atlánticas and Atlantic Extrem Sports and a Spanish open water swimmer.
Triple Corona Illas Atlánticas
The Triple Corona Illas Atlánticas is a 3-stage 57 km swim between 2015 and 2017. The first stage race was held in September 2015 and was a 13 km open water swim from the island of Ons to the beach of Silgar in Sanxenxo. The second stage race was held in 2016 and was a 16 km open water swim the islands Cíes to Playa de Ribeira (Baiona). The third stage race is held in 2017 and is a 28 km open water swim between the island of Sálvora and the beaches of Vilagarcía de Arousa, crossing the islands of A Toxa, Arousa and Cortegada, in addition to several islets and reefs.
