Gulf of Gdańsk or Bay of Gdańsk or Gdansk Bay or Danzig Bay or Polish: Zatoka Gdańska; Kashubian: Gduńskô Hôwinga is a southeastern bay of the Baltic Sea. It is named after the adjacent port city of Gdańsk in Poland and is sometimes referred to as the Gulf of Gdańsk.

Open Water Swimming

The Extreme Baltic Challenge (or the Challenge Tolkmicko-Krynica Morska is a 8 km open water swim from Tolkmicko to Krynica held on 23-25 June 2018 in the Vistula Lagoon in the Gulf of Gdańsk with an average depth is 2.7m with anticipated strong winds and 18-20°C water temperatures that take most swimmers 2.5 - 3 hours to complete.
