Barrier Waterman
Barrier Waterman was initially incorporated to build surf craft in the USA and avoid the importing costs associated with shipping equipment from Australia. Barrier Waterman has teamed up with Brian Miess, from the Canadian Lifesaving Society, to sell Dolphin Surf Craft.
Phill Lloyd
Phill Lloyd is a lifeguard and member of the Beach Haven Beach Patrol. He is a Dolphin Surf Craft/Barrier waterman who grew up on the Gold Coast of Australia surfing and competing in lifeguard competitions. He was a volunteer for the Surf Life Saving Association and has worked professionally as a lifeguard for over 20 years. He surfs as much as possible and competes in lifeguard competitions to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and to stay in touch with beach patrollers from all over the world. He currently works as an EMT / Fire Fighter on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
