noun - A bank-to-bank course is an open water swimming course that starts on one bank (of a river or shore) and finishes on the opposite or other bank. It is the layout of one type of open water swimming competition or a solo swim.


The swimmers studied the bank-to-bank course that runs from the northern shore to the southern shore.
