Samantha Naudin was an Australian triathlete, mother of 2, coach, personal trainer, special education teacher, advocate for breast cancer research, and mentor to many. She first was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007 and finally succumbed to the disease in 2012. She is the inspiration for a solo charity swim by Aaron Richardson who will attempt the BREAST IN THE WEST - Solo Rotto to Cott Midnight Swim for Breast Cancer, a night 20km swim in Western Australia across the Rottnest Channel on 24 November 2012.
The solo swim is a charity event to benefit Breast Cancer Care Western Australia.
