Avishai Tal is an Israeli open water swimmer who completed a relay crossing of the English Channel at the age of 48 together with 41-year-old Gadi Katz, 45-year-old Ami Ginsburg, 56-year-old Shlomo Amitai, 52-year-old Omer Bar in 11 hours 47 minutes on 28 September 2011.
